PROJECT OF THE MONTH

California Solar helps UCSB increase energy efficiency! Recent renovations of Santa Catalina's Residence Hall pool were made to assure UCSB is at the forefront of world-class universities. California Solar aided UCSB in lowering energy consumption and operations costs by installing a 72-panel Heliocol solar pool heating system, outfitted with a 5-horsepower Pentair pump. The project will save the university hundreds of thousands of dollars and over a million pounds of avoided CO₂ emissions!
